When should I use the Remote Support download?
Use it when a Fake Brains technician asks you to start a remote support session so we can help troubleshoot directly on your computer.
Do I need admin rights to run the support client?
In many cases it will run without a full install, but some environments or security policies may require elevated permissions.
Is the remote support session secure?
Sessions are initiated by you and should only be started while you are actively working with a Fake Brains technician.
What should I have ready before contacting support?
Please have your company name, a description of the issue, any screenshots or error messages, and the best callback number for your team.
What are your support hours?
Our standard support hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT. For urgent issues after hours, call and leave a detailed message.
